How human judgment and AI work together
AI supports research and admin. People lead screening and introductions. Here's where the line sits and why.
We use AI in the parts of recruiting where pattern-matching is genuinely useful, and we keep humans in the parts where judgment is the whole point. Both of those choices are deliberate.
What AI does
- Parses resumes and profiles into structured data
- Surfaces candidates in our network who could fit a brief
- Drafts first-pass role summaries and outreach variants
- Tracks pipeline state so nothing slips between conversations
What Expert Recruiters do
- Decide which candidates to actually engage with
- Conduct in-depth screening conversations that cannot be automated
- Lead interviews and provide structured, professional recommendations
- Prepare a shortlisted candidates summary for your review
- Draw evidence-based conclusions and stand behind every recommendation
Why this split
Hiring decisions turn on judgment calls — scope, chemistry, motivation, the shape of a career. Language models are good at many things; those aren't among them yet. Automating the research frees our team to spend more time on the conversations that decide outcomes, not fewer.
